What are the pros/cons of these two offerings from Genright?

Reviews I’ve been able to find here on the forum are bit less than positive for that type armor, I think mostly due to poor fit.
Is there any benefit to the type that transitions from the fender to the tub or any downside to the type that doesn't cover the fender?

I was wondering the same and would up getting the flak jacket version. I liked that it covered the seam from the tub to the fender for a clean look.

i'm with starkey. they are not difficult to DIY. the raw material is less than 1/2 the cost of the finished pieces and i just didn't want the stupid logo.

just using the tub panel would drive me nuts since it'd have a raised edge up front where it meets the fender. the solid panel covering it all looks sleeker, IMO.
 
Making covers for that area just does not seam to be an area that is prone to damages for me :unsure: but hey that's just me
