I’ve been in Jeeps off and on for a while. It all started with a 01 TJ. Had some kids and we’ll had to get rid of it. Went through a couple of XJ’s and now back in a TJ.I’m going to try to post all upgrades/work that I get too.

I bought the Jeep from a guy that wheeled it pretty often without comfort in mind. It had no carpet and mud everywhere in the interior. So I ordered the front carpet kit and some sound deadening from Amazon. My wife ordered some neoprene seat cover from Trusheild I believe was the brand, The we pilled the seats, dash panels and rear tub carpet and went to town cleaning. We used chemical guys interior cleaner and tire wet to get the panels good as we could, hosed out the tub and found some rust in the passenger floor panel. I wire wheeled it and spray painted it. Put the sound deadener down but wished I got more cause 15 sq foot wasn't enough. I steam cleaned the seats and let dry. Installed front carpet and back tub carpet. I took some old indoor outdoor carpet and cut it to fit the back tub floor. It queitened the loud tranny and rode noise down to a comfortable level,

I forgot to mention When I got this jeep it had bad bump steer. I was thinking its because it has a drop pitman arm and drop track bar bracket. I have a factory pitman that I plan on swapping in and remove the bracket. I have to order an adjustable track bar first. But I checked the tire pressure and they were all 35 lbs each! Lowered them to 26 lbs and rides much smoother.

I have this farm jack that has faded to a almost pink. Can’t have that so I’m going to tear it down paint and reassemble with grease.

You'll find MANY here do not like a High Lift jack nor will they carry one. But those of us who know carry and use one.

Yes lose the drop pitman arm and drop trackbar bracket. They really have no place on a TJ.

Yeah I have hood mounts for the jack but I don’t know if I want it there or the tire carrier.

the Jeep came with a light bar but the wires were clipped. The guy that sold it to me said it was a blue tooth connection. 😂 I’m not a huge fan of light bars but I had it so I always need more light. So I made a wiring harness and lit it up.

My wife and kids need help getting in the Jeep so I ordered these. The square tube sliders on the rocker gaurds will be cut off and I figure I'll weld these to the frame.

The PO gave me a flat spare mtr on a non matching wheel and said it had a bad valve stem. I took it to a local tire shop to have it remounted and balanced. And it had a hole in the sidewall🤬. He knew it too cause the tire guy said it had a inner tube in it when he broke it down.
