What did you do to your TJ today?

After stressing out about the teenager not having heat for the winter, I had a buddy who is a mechanic look at it. Basically he flushed back/forth the core until it ran clear then buttoned everything back up.

The Jeep now has hotter heat than my 2010 Ram. Now to get the halos and rock light wiring fixed. One less stressor to deal with.

Added some additional support and safety for my adult sized teens when they ride in the back. Modified a JK seat back to fit my TJ base. It still folds, but not enough room to tumble. No permanent mods were made to the seat lower, so I can always switch it back now.

Installed $100 JVC head unit, BT, USB. No frills but good speakers. Shitcanned the dual amp, dual woofer & box, pop-up screen, overkill Alpine setup. SIL will enjoy that junk in his boat.
Going the other way. Adding a double din Alpine head unit and sub amp for the kicker in center console. Gotta come up with rear and front view cameras now. Passing on the Jvc head unit and stock sub amp to my daughter.

I'm a talk-radio kinda guy. Got over loud tunes decades ago. The next guy can amp it back up. I get it.

Was modifying a JK seat straight forward?

Pretty much. After cutting off the jk back mounts you cut the tubing to fit the mounts between the tj hinges. Then weld the mounts and the cut off pieces as shown in many of the pics on the net. The cables for the fold and tumble on the jk mount to the tj hinges with no modification and the jk hinge mounts also bolt up to the hinge.

only if you're delivering the mail 🇺🇸
Do people actually deliver mail in USA? I thought they just chuck it over the fence or on the lawn like a paper boy used to do!
Anyway something is sckewiff if you have to use a RHD vehicle to deliver mail on a right side drive system? I mean Deliver the "evens" before the "odds" (house numbers) and you will be good with a left hand drive? lol

I deliver both mail and newspapers. Mail is delivered during the day and a RHD vehicle is needed. Newspapers are delivered at 2-4am with no traffic so you can drive on the wrong side of the road (here in the US) and blast your music as loud as you want to. Newspapers get better Christmas tips though. I average $6,000 in tips for newspapers. Mail= people just bitch.:poop:
