What's your hose rated to?
I could do that for the discharge side of the york and remove the barbed brass nipple, but I still would need something to connect onto the barb of the cooler hence why Im using hose clamps.
What cooler are you using? I purchased a tiny derale tube and fin but couldnt find anywhere i liked so i didnt use it. It has -6 male flares on it and you can have it for shipping if it works for you.

That would be a bit too big to fit in my case, thank you though. Here is the one I'm using

Its going to be difficult to avoid the frayed ends with using hose clamps. Maybe you can wrap tape around the hose end and then clamp it? Might look cleaner. I dont see an easy way to adapt to jic without brazing onto your cooler which is probably a waste of time and money.

Im also not sure how neccesary a cooler is. I had read alot of these forums making me think i needed one. I got a used York off a freightliner for free, unknown miles. I put a screw in that oil feed hole and changed the head gaskets, filled it with 6 oz of engine oil and after 10 air ups i have had zero oil carryover into the separator. I have blown a ton of air on my hands for minutes at a time and dont feel any oil getting on my hands. My jeep has been upside down twice and no oil has drained onto the air filter element.

I guess i need to figure out how i can check the oil level but im not too worried about it.

Tape sounds like a good idea. I'll still go to a hose store eventually because it turns out the hose I'm now using isn't much stronger(heat wise) than my old hose🤦‍♂️. And the ORO steel hose is $100 for like 6 ft when I only need about 20 inches lol I figured id toss in the cooler since I was able to make it fit. I saw @tworley 's phot of his melted oil filter so I figured 23$ for the cooler is cheap enough for piece of mind. Luckily I don't have any oil spew either, but I was worried about the filter. I've ran it a good amount now and have no issues, just still worried about the hose.

I found out what filter Kilby spec'ed and purchased it elsewhere. It is all metal and glass, no plastic. I think the key is to avoid a plastic separator. I also used 2 or 3' between the compressor and the separator to give the air "some" time to cool off.

COILHOSE 8923M it uses 3/8 NPT inlet and outlet.

Another option could be copper pipe with compression fittings since all your system is bolted to the york itself and not the fender.

It can only help. I still havent fixed mine and am just using the filter housing as a poor catch-can. The cooler you're using should work just fine.

I made one of these out of some gas welding rod. Works great.
Could have sworn I saw someone use a zip tie too. But that asks the question, how far on the zip tie is the normal level?

Does yours spew with 10oz? And you dont tilt it when you check yours correct? Thanks for that info btw^
Make sure the shaft key is up when checking. No spewing. If I fill it higher than 10 ozs., it will have a light amount of oil come through, but it quits when it gets close to 10ozs. So I keep it at 10ozs.

So I was checking my airfilter to see if it needs to be changed, and my windstar has been letting in a bunch of dirt! So I pulled it all apart and made a tiny prefilter. I ended up taking part of a furnace filter, removing the metal framing, and wrapping it around the opening of the windstar while securing it with zipties, thus acting as a prefilter. Looks ugly but no one will see it and hopefully it does its job. On the bonus, it has made the windstar a LOT quieter!! This jeep is really getting comfortable!

Ive always been getting dusted out on the trail and on the street too if I have my AC on. Using the same furnace filter I used for the prefilter, I made a a cutout of one to sit inbetween the opening and the mouth of the cabin air box. This stuff is pretty thick, so I ended up making 3 sheets thinking that will do the job.

So far it does not give off a certain smell, and the fan acts the same. It doesnt effect fan speed either so this is a win in my book... assuming it filters dust etc. ill let you guys know if it works
