I brought my 35mm film camera with me to Big Bear last month, and took some shoots right after the storm. Started in Apple Valley and took Coxey Truck Trail to Holcomb Valley. There's something special about film that I enjoy over digital, It captures a raw moment in time.

Nice work. I also like how it feels to work with film. From the time you load the canister to the time you pull the final print out of the wash. It's so much more... tangible? hands on? Words fail me, but I get it.

Plus, darkrooms are awesome.

Nice pics.

How/where are you getting the film and pics developed? I haven't thought about film cameras in 15 years or more.
Most local camera shops will still develop and print , most will outsource your rolls and send them out . Luckily in Los Angeles we have lots of local places developing film. I think drugstores do too but the turnaround is slow and the quality is poor. I recommend a local shop where you can tell them the type of shots on the roll and they will recommend how to process it best. Look into push/pull processing it’s cool stuff …if you’re into it .
