well dang, I better check if mine shipped! And the cherry on top the TCase shifter shipped from Savvy. What a great day to own a Jeep

It looks like the tank in the new skid is a match to yours, I'd just make it easy and use it unless there's some issue you're able to see in person. Banging that bit out of the skid will weaken it, though that's a somewhat surprising spot for damage.Pulled the gas tank to put in the savvy skid. It wasn't too bad, I think I only have 2-3 gallons left in there so easy to pull around.

My tank doesn't seem to fit in the skid, I'm thinking the skid might be bent. One side is a good 90* angle but the other side is closer to 87... the old tank does fit easily though. Debating if it's easier to just swap the fuel pump to the tank that fits easily or if there is an easy way to bend the side back to 90.

Yeah that seems like the obvious easiest solution now that I've slept on it. I'm not sure if it's the tank or the skid, I'm thinking it might be my tank somehow since the other one goes in and out so easily. Mine might be bowed out, or a different size. They have the same connectors but are stamped slightly differently. It looks like the tank in the new skid is a match to yours, I'd just make it easy and use it unless there's some issue you're able to see in person. I can give it a shot before I go through the effort of swapping the pump and fuel. I was thinking that might crack the welds like rasbands?I would try to straighten the side of the skid a bit. A bar spanning the outside and a big clamp to to pull the bend out should do something.
Are they cracked now?I can give it a shot before I go through the effort of swapping the pump and fuel. I was thinking that might crack the welds like rasbands?
