What’s the purpose of putting in a bigger motor mount?… just for transfer case clearance issues?..or does it offer other benefits….

Already have 1.25" body lift. Next is a ucf trans skid which will lift the tranny 2". Needing clearance Clarence.
Yeah, the pockets are behind the straps that hold the center of the top to roll cage. I thought maybe I had strapped them wrong, but can only go one way... and have to loosen the speaker pods to work the straps between. With those straps loose, it fits nice and flat though... just can't use the sunrider that way... The front section is nice and tight, with no creases or wrinkles, and most of the back section too... just the pocket on each side.
I've been driving mine for the past week or so... every nice day we've had lately! Doors and sides have not been on the Jeep for 2 weeks now. Rain cover gets tossed on when there's a threat of rain.
It does a couple things, mainly changes the angle of the motor, tranny, xfercase from a horizontal plane —- to more of an up angle / albeit not as drastic as the slashes and dashes on my keyboard make it out to be. So, 1. when someone puts in a body lift, the radiator shroud is supposed to be relocated so it doesn't interfere with the engine fan. The MML raises the engine fan enough that you can leave the radiator shroud in its normal spot. AND 2. When someone does a suspension lift or tummy tuck, the angle on the upper driveshaft Ujoint becomes more severe and can cause vibrations going down the road. Lifting the motor a bit and putting the drive train at more of an up angle, reduces the severity of the angle that the driveline ujoint has to deal with thus no more vibration.
That is so satisfying. I’m totally serious. I fixed a CEL issue and boy what a relief-
Warm weather fixed my CEL for me... lol. (I gotta figure out which hose leaks when cold... )
Been thinking about driving it to work but with gas at $4.25 it would cost me $28 a day
as opposed to $15 day in my car. Thanks Joe
