05' JMT's Twin Teenager's Rubicon Build

My wife staring at the new LED headlights and giving her honest Mom opinion.

I didn't notice she was in the picture till you pointed it out. LOL

EDIT: Oh, that door. There's the garage door, the driver's door, I even looked at the backyard gate. Head scratching.

The spot by the driver's door is my fault. I was trying to get the sliders off. I put a little heat on the backside of the nutsert and the paint bubbled and left the surface. I was so mad at myself. 🤦🏼‍♂️ I am fixing it. It's scheduled for paint day. That will be a big day.

Lol you eventually got to it… the Jeep door was my question

New tire day. These are about the only MT tire I could find for the stock Moab 16” rims that were Load C. These Irok ND’s were from the Blem list, but I don’t see anything wrong with them. The bead is really thick, about 3/4”. Too bad they won’t be mounted for awhile. Added to the tire pile. 🤣 This thing is going to look GOOD! It should perform BETTER!

I've got a couple tire piles and get reminded of them routinely by the misses!

Yes, the Misses. Please don't remind me! I need to just clean it all up!

Interestingly I had 5 Falken Wildpeak MT01s delivered in 285/75/16 size today. On the Falken website these are listed as a Load E tire, with a service desc. of 126/123Q.
https://www.falkentire.com/tires/light-truck-suv-cuv-tires/wildpeak-m/t-tire-0

But in the UK they are sold listed as 116/113Q, however, the load ID is not quoted in the UK. But now they are here they are clearly stamped / labled as "285/75/16 116/113Q Load C".
https://tyresdirectuk.co.uk/products/285-75r16-116-113q-falken-wildpeak-m-t

So maybe there are more options out there than immediately apparent.

EDIT: Have just found a different Falken site for the UK and they are listed there as 116/113Q
https://www.falkentyre.com/en/tyres/suv-tyres/product-detail/75009?type=suv

For whaatever reasons it seems the load range C version of their 16" tyres are just not available in the US.

That’s so strange.

Post a pic! Let’s see these glorious Falken load C metric equivalent 33’s!

In the US those wheels only came on Cherokees. Looks really good on a TJ.

Thanks. It took me ages to find that out a while back, I spent ages looking at TJ wheel options and then stumbled on the answer on a Cherokee forum. In the case of my "special addition" I think all it meant was that they had a look around to see what parts they had left over from other Jeeps. In addition to the Cherokee wheels it has the seats from the 60 Anniversary TJ realeased the year before. I am sure if I knew where to look I would find other parts bin orphans on it :ROFLMAO:

Guess I should have read more!

Install of the front passenger fender. The side marker has to be relocated. You can see it on the middle bolt on the side of the grille. With bigger tires and proper BS, this is going to look amazing.
