Well I got my winch/bumper on and finally wired, so I went on a test drive topless doorless and with the A/C on. Arizona is great!!

I really miss that about living in Arizona. It’s the perfect time for no top or doors.

You desert dwellers have it made this time of year! You can have your summers though. 123* is just crazy!

We have ice cream trucks drive around on Christmas day. It is pretty hilarious. Ya the summers are rough, but luckily we can drive a few hours north into the mountains and get some relief. It could be 118 in Phoenix, and we can drive 3 hours north and it will be 86 in the middle of July. That doesn't really help on a work day but it doesn't kill every weekend.

The problem this year is it hasn't rained since summer, and the temps have been in the high 90's till this week. That is really unusual. It has been an unusually hot fall this year, but I am making up for it now in the winter finally.

It gets pretty warm over here too, low 100's June thru September. Thankfully, I'm only a 1.5 hr. drive to the north coast where it averages low 60's, so some relief there too.

I'd be happier if the temps just got in the low 90's during the summer, but I won't complain, it's a pretty nice place to live if you can tolerate the politics.

It is....and the mountains (Mendocino National Forest) are in our back yard just to the north of us. Ocean to our West and the Serria Mountains to our East.
:)

In the pictures you post there seems to be a lot of land. I assume you have some property. I am jealous if that is true. I have a pretty nice Man Cave, but would like some land.

Ya I get mad at your politics and I don't even live there, but I was hoping you lived far enough away that it wouldn't affect you, but I bet you guys pay some serious gas prices there. I was down at the dunes a couple months ago, and I had to stop inside California for a fill up, and it was over 100 bucks, Usually I pay around 60 in my RAM.

Also I bought a new mac book pro for work, and was complaining about the taxes because it was a lot, and the sales guy said be glad you don't live in California because there would be another 150 dollar electronics fee/tax. Yikes. I don't know how you guys do it there.

Yep, gas is $3.09 a gallon right now. I cry when I fill up my RV. $100 don't last long around here.

I feel for you, we are like 2.29 here right now well last I filled up.
I pay $2.00 New Zealand Dollar which is about $3.00 US dollars per litre here...and I think its 3.5 Litres per US gallon....So if I think I've done my maths properly that's $10.50per US gallon !!!!!!! :eeeeek: (somebody correct me if I'm wrong but that that cant be right...can it ??? )

On a side note I grew up in England cold wet winters...but much prefer Christmas out here BBQ on the beach for Christmas dinner haha
