Measure Once, Cut Twice: A Story of Excitement and Impatience

last time i looked i thought a new TDK frame was in the 2600$ ballpark and you could then add custom mounts above that if desired.
was a southern frame in IN> but it's gone. a few in columbus that claim to be southern and rust free but you can see some rust so IDK who he's trying to fool there. 1200$.

if i see anything good local/in state or close......i'll post it your way.
Cool. Thank you.

My nephew found this when he pulled the head back off. @Irun is so right to replace these when you have the head off.

I bought the smaller Neiko set and am curious how it will hold up. Hopefully, better than the HF junk that keeps breaking!

I’ve been running that smaller set for a couple years, no issues. But, I haven’t put them on my impact either.

After seeing Jason’s set I wish I had a T70 just because.

Mopar motor mounts and RC lift blocks got here Friday. Today I replaced the MORE mml.

Passenger side stud was too close to the bracket-to-block bolt. I couldn’t get a socket on it, so I had to improvise.

Crows foot worked slowly, but nicely.

I will say that it reduced the idle vibes significantly but not completely. One unexpected benefit though was the very slight harmonic/drive train vibe that came on around 67mph is completely gone. I took it up to 75-80mph and zero vibes. I call that a win.

Just to double check, did you clearance the motor and frame brackets on the passenger side?

I've been thinking about doing this too...I have the same MORE bombproof mounts that you had installed.

I had the same problem getting a wrench on one nut on passenger side with new Mopar motor mounts and Savvy lift blocks. I did have a clunk start a few weeks after I installed and found one of the studs (also passenger side) was hitting the block. Had to do some trimming.
