Basket's Build

Been busy lately. Went to Holy Cross last weekend, was an awesome trail. Will post up some pics when I clear up some cloud storage.

I've been focusing on learning SketchUp so I can design the trailer I picked up. I was originally planning on something with a RTT on it but the more I think about it the more I think I might as well just try to build a small teardrop-like thing so I can actually get inside if I'm going to put the effort into building something.

Did you climb Cleveland Rock?

That was Cleveland Rock. It ends shortly after that

Okay yeah, seemed really sketchy. Looked like a good way to slide over and roll, we didn't even attempt it. It was raining the entire day too so everything was slick. That rocky river crossing was FUN

Have you guys made it up it in a TJ?
I have not. Let's blame the tires.

Ah okay, don't feel so bad then. What tires are those?

Looks like that big puddle is just part of that obstacle, thought it was cos it was raining all day. Makes it a lot trickier

Garbage tires. The puddle has been there everytime I have.

Not a jeep but a jeep related skill. For some practice I welded together a welding cart. It is sturdy and I can't break it jumping on it or throwing it around lol so I'm happy.

I got tired of looking for shit while building it so I put space on it for the pliers, gun, and brushes so they all have a home lol. Damn is it nice to just put shit where you want it

I cut a good hole in my frame and bumper for the hitch. Now I need more practice so I can trust my welding enough to actually do the job... or see if I'm gonna buy a new bumper I guess

Organized the garage a bit, added a new shelf, mounted my old hitch receiver onto my table so I can mount my hitch-mount vice and use it and remove it.

So much room for activities! You can see I need to find something to put on top of the tabletop so it stops catching fire when I weld on top of it

Maybe you need a portable welding table.

I was thinking of picking up some 16ga steel at Ace and just screwing it down lol. But that is a good table for a good price, and it folds which is perfect for my small garage. I am bookmarking this one thank you

Go run a road sign over...and collect the broken remains for a bench top. Nice aluminum!
