Working on the sound system. I've had it on the shelf for a few years. It'll be a copy of my red LJ which has great sound quality with Alpine amps and JL speakers.

PO must have thought it was a contest to see how much stuffing could fit into the speaker pods. I pulled out an entire pillow's worth of densely packed stuffing!

I refluffed and put some loosely back in each.

I think I discovered the problem with the RMS leak. The Permatex anaerobic gasket maker never set up except where exposed to the air. It appears to have washed out where the bearing cap meets the block.

I had used the same tube when I first attempted to repair so that's probably why it failed twice.

RMS repair is finished. For the best possible chance at success, I used all Mopar seals and RTV. The Mopar RMS seal definitely fits nicer than Felpro. However for the oil pan gasket I'd probably save the money and use Felpro next time.

I'm also letting the RTV cure for a day until I pour the oil back in.
