Anyone running 35 KM3's on a daily?

I recently switched from 35" MTR's to KM3's so I'm not really in a position to comment on tread wear. There are some things I really like relative to the MTRs. First, the ride is so much smoother and less jarring. KM3s have a nice ride. MTRs not so much. Second, the tread width is significantly narrower. I wasn't sure this was a plus until I realized the PS front tire no longer rubbed on the control arm--no spacer required. Third, I seem to be getting a few more miles per tank. Fourth, at this early stage, the KM3s are very quiet.

The only negative so far is that they are rock chuckers. They pick up gravel and then it hits the body.

I was resigned to get KO2s as probably my best tire choice but couldn't find any in the country. I'm happy with the KM3s which seems to me to be something of a hybrid mud terrain as opposed to a full med terrain.

Nah, they are a full mud terrain tire. Trust me. We test them.

We run KM3s on my wife's JKU and its a DD. They've been on about 2 years now and still have tread left. For a mud tire, they wear very well and we don't rotate them but every other oil change. Excellent offroad!

Anyone put mileage on a set of these as a d’s? How are they wearing? How are the road manners? I’m looking to replace my current tires do to wear. I have been looking at these.
I have read some online reviews claiming they wear incredibly fast.

I’m 6,500 mi into my KM3’s and I have 16/32’s consistently across the tires. You can do the math for projected longevity. I don’t expect to get more than 22,000-25,000 out of a MT. My tire guy says his experience with KM3’s is they are a good tire that usually takes a lot of weight to balance. Some have mentioned the scalloped edges. At first I thought this was a negative, but when aired down they seemed to lay the sidewall down easier and create more traction than those tires that go straight to the edge and drop straight down. I don’t know if there’s anything to that observation or not though. They’ve really grown on me and I like them a lot! In the past I’ve had GY MTR, Maxxis Razr, and Cooper STT Pro.

What size tire are you putting the 10 oz in? Thinking of trying... However, when I go on trail runs I run 5+ hrs one way... Any cons to the beads?? I'm doing about 25k km a yr...

35x12.5R15 If the tires have a lateral imbalance, beads will not help. BFGs seem to be laterally balanced.

I gave the tire store 8 ozs of 0.25 gr airsoft pellets and 3 ozs of galvanized BBs per tire (11 ozs total--~1% of the tire weight) to balance my KM3s. I had so much trouble with the MTRs that I tried this and it worked so well. I have no balance issues on the KM3s at any speed that I care to drive at.

have run dynabeads in my motorcycle tires for years and have wondered about using them or something similar in my jeep tires (pro comp exterme mt).

Currently have 8oz of balance beads in 3 out of 4 tires on our TJR. The tires are Super Swamper, so they called for too much weight. They are just OK with the beads.

I don't have any experience with the "real" balancing beads. I have read that they can clump up and/or plug valve stems. Those are the reasons I went with the airsoft pellets and bbs. The bbs I took out of the MTRs showed signs of scuffing after being used for several years but did not seem compromised in any way.
