Hello TJ forum! My name is Grayson, I recently moved with my family from the Seattle Washington area back to San Diego. Though we loved being up in the PNW, we are excited to be back in the Southern California area. During this transition I sold my truck (7.3l Diesel F250) and bought a 2004 Wrangler TJ Rubicon Manual. My wife has a 2018 JLU Sahara and we have had a few other Jeeps in our past such as a Liberty and KL Cherokee Trailhawk. I just got this Wrangler from a friend on my paintball team in WA and relocated it with us. So this build currently is about 98% Bought not Built haha. My goal is to learn from everyone's experiences here and will slowly rebuild a lot myself. Looking forward to learning and chatting on here with everyone! Have a good day,

I love San Diego.
First you need to decide what size tires you want to run. From there you can pick the correct lift height.

So I am currently running 35"s with a 4" lift (from the previous owner). I will do some research on best ways to verify that measurement. I do want to stick with this, I like the height, seems fairly comfortable daily driving. I think I should regear as the power from 1st to 2nd seems sluggish (again I am all open to learning everything) so please let me know if I am reading into this correctly or not haha. The previous owners arms and components seemed to be on the cheaper side (no names on anything) so I do think I want to eventually upgrade them all to the Currie/RockJock components in time. Very similar to what you have on your build!

If you have stock gearing you will need a re gear.
You can get control arms from Currie, savvy or core 4x4. If you get them from core 4x4 I would get Jhonny joints at both ends.
