Installed the savvy shifter. Overall not too bad. Dropping the UCF oil & transfer skid is always a pain.

Still have a ton of drive line vibes. Going to have to break down and buy a SYE kit and and Adam’s driveshaft.
Not really looking forward to removing the transfer case and opening it up. But, it’s got to be done I think.

Twas the morning of the night before Christmas and I went out with some folks from the Oregon Offroad Recovery FB group and unstuck a Dodge truck that's been then for a couple of days.

Got some video and going to start editing...we all assumed it was a snow recovery and it was mud!

That doesn't rhyme ! It started off okay but went down hill from there.

Spent some of my Christmas bonus on a JB Conversions SS-SYE. If Santa doesn't bring RockJock Springs tomorrow, I might have to spring for those before New Year's. Anyone know if there is a sale going on anywhere for the 4" springs?

I repainted my hardtop and got that back on earlier today…put the boom mat inside also which made a huge difference as far as not freezing during this arctic unpleasantness. It’s now also sporting 245/75r16 Cooper Snow Claws on new silver Quadratec Baja 16x8s which I covered with repainted Rubicon flares. It probably won’t snow again now that I’m fully winterized.

You know how you stay up all night putting together that bike for your kids...no kids so I just edited yesterday's footage...happy holidays folks!

Twas the night before Christmas Eve and all through the woods , not a creature was stirring but a Ram with a white hood.
He was revving and slinging mud all about, when all of a sudden he let out a shout.
I'm stuck in the mud , I hate this brown crud !
As much as he struggled not an inch he could creep and had to be rescued by a little white Jeep.

Took the Jeep for a 2 hour drive to visit my mother-in-law. I haven't seen her since she had her pacemaker surgery. Jeep drove great (highway/75mph, back roads and windy outside). Came back with 2 quarts of homemade chicken & rice soup and some new coasters for the Jeep. Somebody knew my taste in Jeep accessories.

Watched that and the only thing that bothered me about it was pulling on the ball of the hitch. Those things have pulled out and killed people, very dangerous thing to do.
