Car pics too cool not to share

What kind of drugs do you have to be using to look at Tahoe and say to yourself "That would look good with a bunch of '57 Chevy stuff on it"?

While for the most part I agree with your sentiment. I do also appreciate the level of craftsmanship it took to bring whom ever's dream this was to life.

I actually kinda think that is pretty cool. Do something better with the grill and the front bumper and you would really have something.
Ditto. They stopped a little too short of the mark..

Edit: I think that click I just heard was Squatch putting me on Ignore…
Haven't heard any strange clicks yet but I also haven't clicked post reply yet...

Don't know why but I've never been a huge fan of the 57 Chevy as a convertible. And those rims REALLY ruin it for me.

As a lover of hot rods and muscle cars and classics from the 50’s…. I know I ‘should’ like the 57 chev but it does nothing for me…. maybe because there are so many of them out there and they all look pretty much the same….
Out of the Tri- five I’d take the 55 anytime.

The fun-factor for a droptop is always higher, in my opinion, but a lot of times, the loss of the sweeping roofline of the hardtop (not to be confused with the typically more stodgy look of the sedan) takes away from the aesthetics. I love me a '59/'60 GM 2-door hardtop even better than a convertible when it comes to looks. Still, you know what they say: "When the top comes down, the price goes up." ;)

At the least, you can say that this 1972 Ford Ranchero is unique. The purists may hate this ride, while the more adventurous out there may think it’s cool.
The whole car sits on a modified Bronco frame and suspension. It’s also had a re-wired lights on the roof bar and installed a new battery by the current owner.
This Ford Ranchero/Bronco mix also has 4×4 (4WD), Locking Hubs, GT Grant Steering Wheel, Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette (not working), Chrome Bumpers, Warn Winch (model 8274), Roll Bar, Chrome Fog Lights (4), Spray-in Bedliner, Tinted Glass, Tow Package, 15″ Chrome Wheels, and General Grabber 35 x 12.50 Tires.
Engine: 351 V8

I don't hate it, but I don't love it, either. Truth be told, I'd rather have the same Ranchero in the same condition, but in stock form. For that matter, I'd rather have the Bronco donor vehicle in the equal condition, but stock. This build here is the lesser of the three options, in my opinion.

I'm not much of a fan of Rancheros or El Caminos ('cept the early Falcon version), and the fake "woody" is tacky as shit. The 4WD conversion is the best part of the car! The "Back Off" mud flaps are a nice touch... ;)
