That means I have one $500 option and it's steel. Might have to buy that TIG rig and roll my own.

I asked about aluminum parts, the reply was when aluminum prices come back to reality, then he will start producing parts. I assume this thinking applies to other/all aluminum parts … he should consider making them out of steel for now, and offer aluminum when (IF) prices come back down.
It has come down from the insanity that it reached ... I was watching this a while last year. Left is dollars and right is % shift. Red is moving average. It's a slow fall like many other things now.

I just read through this whole thread and still have no idea what's really going on. I was wanting to order a mid arm upgrade kit but never pulled the trigger because it says it comes with new johnny joints... which is annoying, I don't need new joints. I have a savvy short arm. I need links and brackets.
get the brackets from savvy and order links separately
You need different larger Johnny Joints for all the upper links than what you have on the short arm.
you shouldn't have any issues selling your short arms
