Over the last few years I've seen a steady decline in customer service when buying TJ/LJ parts. Since we're already talking about bad experiences or customer service in other threads, let's flip this and talk about good experiences. To be clear this isn't just about the parts, but about both the quality of the parts and customer service. That said, my top three are:

1. Black Magic Brakes - I've never had a bad experience here and am frequently shocked that a company is this good, helpful, and genuine
2. Tom Woods Driveshafts - Same as above. This is a company I deal with that sells a fantastic product and, even though I act like one sometimes, doesn't treat me like I'm an idiot when I ask questions or need help. They have surprised me on more that one occasion by going above and beyond for customer service
3. Rock Auto (Honestly, this one is a stretch and no place close to either #1 or #2. It's just that all my other experiences have been so bad)
3. Crutchfield - I had to be reminded of this one, which is why Rock Auto (As I said, a stretch) was removed. Crutchfield's customer service is top notch and their stereos come ready to install, including wiring harnesses and mounting brackets

Let's hear your top three best, and why!

Precision Auto Injectors...fast shipping... personalized note... sticker...and it all worked!

And add Adam's Driveshaft, Novak and Barnes 4x4.

Crutchfield - few other places will take the time to troubleshoot a system when not everything was bought from them.

I forgot about this one. It would replace Rock Auto for my number three. I've bought numerous Jeep stereos and speakers from them, with never a bad experience and always great customer service!

Jantz Engineering would be another one. Carl is a great guy to deal with.

SkidRow has always been fast to reply to my questions and has helped me before.

SWAG would be on my list too.

Rock Auto is a hard sell for exceptional for me...

Positives...they have a diversity of parts...good to exceptional prices...fast shipping options.

Negatives... shipping is prohibitively expensive...returns are time consuming and they charge restock fees...and absolutely no way to talk to a human being.

I'd put Mopar Parts Giant in that same bucket

Good one. I was thinking Jeep specific, but Crutchfield is a great company to deal with.

Revolution gear is also very good and should have been on my original list. I’ve spent some time on the phone with them and i didn’t feel rushed at all.

There are a few other companies I considered, but didn’t include because I’ve not had to deal with returns or any other customer service. Barnes, Motobilt, Savvy (yes, same savvy). They offer a product, shipped it quickly, and provided me the information I require along the way. Nothing above and beyond, but maybe that is saying something in today’s economy.

BMB, Quadratec, Adams Driveshaft, and Crutchfield. Everybody loves to hate QT but in 10 years, I’ve had nothing but perfect experiences through many orders. Morris 4x4 used to be great until they changed ownership 3-4 times.

Edit: oh, and Denny’s driveshaft! They are absolutely fantastic in my experience, the only place to buy self service driveline parts IMO.

Metalcloak has been pleasant to deal with despite their “smoke annd mirrors,” even when they’ve sent me wrong parts, they pay for return shipping.

Northridge was also easy to deal with and shipping was fast during Black Friday.

I said it was a stretch! ;)

BMB and Tom Wood for sure are top 2.

I've also had good dealings with Northridge. Had to return something, they were friendly and polite on the phone, didn't hassle me about it. They've also shipped backordered items to me well before I was expecting it.

JB conversions returned my call on a Saturday and shipped me two replacement speed sensor o-rings for free for a SYE I had bought and installed 3 years before.

And I'm gonna say it...Rough Country. My green TJ came with their disconnects and I've done things like break them or lost parts and they've sent me replacements at no charge with no proof of purchase. They did make me pay for replacement bushings but it was like $11 for a pair. I have one of their light bars that I plan to install on a fairlead mount and though I haven't installed it yet, just unboxing it appears to be much higher quality than the stuff I've gotten from nameless Amazon suppliers. They're also the only company I know of that makes a OEM Rubicon width fender flare mostly lookalike so I have to give them credit for finding a real unmet need instead of following the modern trend of trying to sell us solutions in search of a problem.

Honestly I've not had any bad experience with any of the offroad sellers.
just to name few, BMB, Atlas, 4lowparts when they dealt with revo gears and axles, 4 whl parts, metal cloak
Adam's driveshaft, UCF, Bestop, Poison spyder by they were sold...

BTW what is TRE? I know it as "Tie Rod End"
