What did you do to your TJ today?

Scrubbed and scraped all the embedded rust off my gas tank.

Thought I would put M5 riv ruts on the new filler neck but my tool's head is too big to snap the rivnut down flush. Should have just used sheet metal screws...worked (ish) for the first 20 years...2 were missing and 2 were through bolted...PIA to remove.

Tried a tack weld on the riv nut...nope...ordered another riv nut tool with a smaller head. Get to wait two weeks for Amazon...so much for Prime.

Just took the 06 for a spin to lock my work trailer at a job, fuel it and keep things working -

Blew my clutch master cylinder. Backed down the driveway and noticed something dripping on the floor mat. Topped it off and made it back up the driveway

I had put in the LUK CRS011 last year, are there any better options?

Of all the PO bullsh!t...looks like someone was trying to remove the roll cage and broke a drill bit...

IMG20230321160643.jpg

Also... anyone know where to find a 52100218 fuel line...or should I just order a Dorman generic kit and crimp my own? For a early 97 4.0.

And PS it came right out with some vice grips...so wtf? Some people shouldn't be allowed to play with tools.

My neighbor came over today to try and help me wire up my locker bypass like @JerryBransford suggested after I tried the Ken White way. Well after reading Ken's directions again, I found that I had connected to the VT/LB wire instead of the VT/DB wire. Well alls good now ifin you follow directions the first time. Can I blame it on old eyes?

Ordered Currie Currectlync from DPG. Great price comparatively.

Knuckle from VBB 16" kit (yet to be installed) on its way back to Blaine to swap out for a tie rod flip knuckle. Treated tie rod ordered from BMB along with the flip tie rod brackets & WRG soft shackles.

Really pushing to get this Jeep back on the road.
