Does anyone have a picture of a mounted Next Venture bumper from underneath? Specifically near the crossmember

No and it's raining so I don't feel like going to take one, but what are you asking exactly? This thing essentially is the same exact shape and size of the rear crossmember. Mine has 1 mounting bolt on each side kinda below the shackle loops.

This is what I wanted to know. It being a third of the price of the New Venture makes sense now.
I’d like to see if anyone has a pic showing whether the New Venture protects the bottom of the crossmember.

My old lj had that bumper. I think I can find a picture of the bottom side. If not I can have my dad take one because he has that Jeep now.
Those are the most “underneath” pictures I have. The nice thing about this bumper is that it isn’t just a plate on top of the rearmost crossbar. It actually wraps underneath and uses the factory bolt holes on the bottom.

Thank you, that’s what I wanted to know.
That makes the New Venture a more solid bumper in my book, especially with my LJ’s departure angle. Though it is 3 times the price of the Barnes..

Ain't nutin but gluing some metal together.
I'm not sure I've done much serious wheeling with it, I can't remember hitting it ever. I did destroy my OEM bumper and that's when I got this. I hit it on the far passenger side of the bumper, but it was just 2 brackets onto the crossmember.
How likely do you think it is to hit right there and not land on the GTS first? Seems like it might be a pretty narrow window.

I wonder how this would've differed with the flat plate... yeah I was not thinking about your LJ however
The only issue I have with my NV rear bumper is it isn't full width and I've landed on the corner of the tub more than once. After the first time I added corner armor. Otherwise it is a great bumper.
