New guy here to the forum. Just picked up a TJ after a few years Jeepless. Don't ask me why but I sold a YJ several years ago and regretted it ever since. Anyway, here's my newest trapping/huntin rig. I'll be asking a lot of dumb questions so be ready and thanks for having me!

It's been known to produce some birds. This time of year it's loaded with snows. Sometimes solid white bank to bank and noisy as hell.

Welcome! That's ok, we have plenty of dumb answers...

To be honest the Tj doesn't ride much better than my Yj did. That's the main reason I'm here. Gotta read up on some tricks of the trade starting with tires. Might down size.

New shocks from a reputable manufacturer (I run Bilstein 5100s), 26-28 psi in the tires (this is the most important thing by far), and the right load range for the tires, and you'll be riding like a Cadillac.

A poor quality lift kit on a TJ (i.e. Rough Country) and over-inflated tires (anything over 28 psi) will make a TJ ride like garbage.
