What a difference an oil filter can make

I just had to share this. Cause its still blowing my mind. I drive a 99 tj. These last two years. It just wouldnt want to start. Ive been able to get it to but taking multiple series of cranks. This last year, i decided to try a 20,000 mile k/n filter. Using the mixed synthetic castrol oil. I decided not to change my filter, during my typical oil change routine. Since i rarely drive 5,000 miles on a change. I change when it burns a liter and then gets dark. Usually this is around 2,500 miles. The first oil change, was very dark oil. Typical i thought. I hope this works. using this k/n. Its been the typical period where my jeep should have burned a liter... the oil is transparent still, a amber color still, , flowing on the dipstick like new oil...and it hasnt shown on the dip stick that it burned practically any oil. And the part thats blowing my mind is how my jeep is starting consistently on the second key turn. I still have a fault with my fuel pump.. but im gettin 30 mpg with the faulty fuel pressure return valve... so i save alot in gas money... but its alot to do with driving technique as well with my area’s subtle road pitch ,for why i get such amazing mileage. Its the perfect pitch that the wrangler will run at 1,100 rpm up and the. Free energy back home. So i just idle everywhere

Go buy a 95 Honda Civic to abuse.

We need a good thread like this every year or so. Zed and the exhaust flames guy were comedy gold.

I’m not sure if this guy meant for this thread to be comedy or trolling, but man did it make a lot of people laugh.

I don’t think he should shy away. He ought to come back and say, “I got you guys!”.

I can't recall, which one claimed to be the forum owner? I believe it was the flamer.
