What did you do to your TJ today?

Didn't do to much to the jeep, but I went to the river to metal detect. Thought I would share a photo

Went and got my CO2 tank filled and received my extended brake lines and copper washers. Hoping to get all of this installed Sunday

So, today I was going to marry the donor tub to the chassis...that didn't happen. We will try for tomorrow. Hoping some manpower show up to lift it on.

I took the evening to check over everything. The chassis is ready. I stripped more off the donor tub. The only thing that remains is the tub, dash and front fenders.

That should be light enough for 5 of us to lift and put it on.

Well it looked great leaving the tire shop! I felt like a new man with a new Jeep minus a little issue with one of the tires. They figured a tube would fix it and hold until I could get another set/tire

I came out of the grocery store from the meat sale honey do list lol... the one with the tube was on the ground... can’t get the original KO’s anymore so I guess the KO2 will have to be the odd until I get a new set...

It looked GREAT for about 45 mins!!

Then I had to put the old ones back on cause running around on 32” with a 235 spare NO GO lol

Dude, it looks good, but you need that Budget Boost! I'm shameless....

@Shane Mckinley, maybe you could find some stock springs that are in good shape to replace yours with when you do the boost?

I’m hoping so. I want to say I’ve seen Moog at Amazon for like $100-$120 front and back.

My thing like I said is time. I’ve seen the post about the member that use ramps opposite sides one front one rear that did the whole job in a couple hours.

Maybe I’m over thinking it with the disconnecting of lower shocks, track bars, ect. Maybe it’s not as daunting as my mind is telling me

I’ve done shocks, sway bars, valve cover on my BMW, brakes... surely this is doable [emoji51]

Never leave the handle down like that, always make sure it's upright.

Oh hell I didn’t even notice cause it was dark on that side of the photo

He’s right. That’s under load/tension in that position.

Scored a free hitch mounted 4-bike rack that was missing the hitch pin. Discovered the shank is threaded so instead of drilling it out for use with a standard hitch pin or sourcing Bell's proprietary threaded pin, I used $1.50 in hardware for a secure fit. Added bonus was it stores nicely on my door hangers when not in use.
