So i was thinking there has to be a way to add a retractable side step that could still be strong enough to take a hit from a rock when retracted.

Has anyone see this on a TJ.

Just random food coma thoughts

If i live another 40 years i will never understand wifes. Ask for a trackbar and you have to justify everything to spend $200. I showed her the steps and the cost and she said after xmas order them.

:risas3: amazing. Take your victories my friend!

when my daughter was in elementary school my wife drove a 2008 eddie bauer expedition which we used to tow with . one of the options on the truck was retractable steps. all the little kids loved to see them open when you opened the door and it did help my wife get in

Don't "ask". Buy what you want, as long as you're not spending the grocery money.

Be careful! After you spend the money for those steps, don't be suprised if she expects the same amount spent on her!! Experience speaks.
