They'll look great done either way! Robert does a fantastic job. Will probably have 'em powder coated. Otherwise, they'll be sitting around until the weather would allow me to paint 'em. And you know better than most what the weather can be like up here. Even sitting in the garage, the surface rust would start taking hold. If I get 'em powder coated right away, then it's done, and done.
All the ones I've seen absolutely back that statement. Personally, I feel they might just well be the best value out there in bumpers. They'll look great done either way! Robert does a fantastic job.
When Mr. Jerry recommended them a couple of years back, I checked in and with Robert for a price, and was stunned. When they came in, I couldn't believe the quality of the work vs the cost. It's rare in the Jeep world to get something and not have a little buyer's remorse, but I can guarantee you that you won't feel even a little when you get them in your hands. All the ones I've seen absolutely back that statement. I'm liking that report! What floored me was that the shipping for both bumpers was the same price as if I'd just bought one. No increase. Same here with the self-etch, but I used bedliner as the finish for mine.If they do have to sit a while, cover them with a light coating of ATF, that will stop the rust. I painted mine. I prepped the steal, and did like 3 coats of etching primer and 5 coats of hammered black on mine.
That'd be perfect for my '56 Vicky!Hey Squatch......you need a suicide knob for one of you older cars?

Yep! The '56 Victoria, or the '66 Classic convertible, or the '66 Marlin. Any of 'em would easily double in value with that option attached! LOLI bet @Squatch has the perfect car for this!
E-mailed Robert for an update. No pressure at all, just an "out of curiosity" inquiry. He said he's almost finished with 'em, and he'd get in contact with me next week. :thumbsup:They're worth the wait.

It belonged to my wife. It was her idea to give it to you. She even went out into the garage and found the box and bubble wrap to put it in.Seriously? Thank you very much, LR! That's really cool, and very nice of you!
