I redid the calculations for those who have not measured their hub heights.
(sidewall diameter/2) - 1" = estimated hub height. This number appears in the Tire Size Radius line.

17.5" hub height for 37's at 23psi
104" wheelbase.
Hopefully someone smarter than me can extrapolate a typical suspension lift height from that.

About 4" of equivalent lift. And don't be getting any ideas that I'm smarter than you! :)
 
@bucknut713 and @Chris have 4" lift and 35s, but frame height is 1.5" to 2" higher than me on the same setup. Maybe I need to measure the superlift coils again, as old as they are they may be sagging. My jeep is light compared to most...

We did. I thought maybe the hardtop was a contributor (which it may be) but Chris still has a higher frame hieght, but then again his springs are newer than mine too.

His lower spring seats are still in the stock orientation. With his similarly raised pinion, he should have a bit more ride height than we do.

On mine, the reason I have a spacer is to recover the ride height lost from me messing with the upper and lower seats. Because I didn't know how the springs would behave, I wanted to build in some ride height adjustability.

2" higher though? Thats a huge gain. Even if springs sag, say 3/4".

Well, we spent some time driving it today and dialing it in. I am impressed and like it so much that I'm considering the possibility of building myself one just like it.

It is very purpose built for one area and that is rocks, lots of rocks. It is armored, skidded, clearance, and tuned for rocks.

This one turned out nice! It's interesting to see the differences on a purpose built rig and how they'd cause issues for other areas. Out in the rocks you have that one will be great.

The biggest thing this one has is the new Fox DSC reservoirs. You can practically eliminate body roll with the low speed setting and even on the lowest high speed setting, we weren't able to bottom it out hard with some fairly enthusiastic driving on some rougher stuff in the neighborhood. The steering angle is excellent, the steering is very good. The stability is outstanding. My helper commented as I was whipping it around corners that it felt like you could drift it.

It is the first set of 2.0's that I would consider owning. The DSC reservoirs have solved all the little issues that have bugged me previously. The balance is correct for what we do. Just the right amount of wheelbase, ride height and tire size. My goal was to exceed the capability of the one I built for Jon at Viking and I think this one has done that. The only way I will know for sure is if I can get the owner on some 37" sticky tires. If I can do that, I don't think there is a chance it won't be better.
