Yeah I know the package says JK but sometimes they fit other models and I didn’t know for sure. For some reason my brain wasn’t functioning telling me to go google it by the part number.
They go above the coil springs and below your coil spring isolator. The TJ one's are about $20 on Quadratec. Try to sell the JK one's on CL.Where does the yellow spacer go exactly?
What's the ride quality HD vs Medium duty? And isn't Medium duty and Light duty the same thing? I think I see these OME kits listed under both. But I think they only offer two stiffnesses - HD and Medium/Light. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm also going to stick to my Rancho RS500X shocks. As I believe they are 0-2 lift rated. And the best shocks I've heard of for ride quality.
My Jeep is stock. But I plan on adding tube bumpers (Smittybuilt) eventually. ANd a tire carrier. But no plans for anything else like a winch or other heavy items. I want the best street ride I can get. As logging roads is the worst (and only occasional) off roading I have planned. I would probably load up for camping/hiking. But I doubt it would be more than 100-200lbs extra. Just things like a medium sized ground tent, cooking supplies and clothing. No rooftop tent. Or anything crazy.
I'd like to go Medium/Light duty. But don't want to lose lift height for tire clearance. Any suggestions? I'd probably like to run 33's. Or at least 32's.
That looks so good. Are those the Mammoth Boulder wheels? Argent or black?

If you run HD both front and rear, will a 0.75 spacer up front level things out?Ride quality is a function of your shocks, not springs, and your tire pressure, for 33's 26psi.
Ideally you need 4" to run 33's, so a combination of the 2.0 OME HD and a 1.25" body lift will likely net you around 3.75", a good plan. Or if you want to get rid of the TJ's natural rake, run the OME HD's up front and the OME LD's in the rear.
It all depends on the sprung weight of the front of the Jeep. The front springs are rated at 140 in/lbs. That means that if you add 140 lbs to the front end of your Jeep it will drop 1”. An aftermarket bumper weighs a bit, then the winch is 60 lbs, so, go do the math and decide what you want to do. Also figure in the natural 1” rake of the Jeep. I have a 1 1/16” spacer up front and I’m still not levelIf you run HD both front and rear, will a 0.75 spacer up front level things out?
I know this an old thread and probably a dumb question, but why not just use a larger spacer like a 1 inch with the 2 inch OME lift ?
I have these OME springs.
2933 front
2942 rear
My LJ has a soft top, an LOD front stubby bumper, Smittybilt raised winch plate and warn VR8000 with steel cable. I have no idea of the weights.
The rear has an LOD signature series bumper with tire carrier and trail rack. Including the 31” spare the whole setup weighs about 175 lbs.
Before my lift was installed it sagged the stock suspension and good but. If I recall correctly, about 1 to 1-1/2 inch.
After installing the lift my nose was way lower. When I purchased it, Dirk at DPG Off-road said it may do that so he included a couple front factory spring isolators. He said I could stack it on top of the ones already on there. That’s what I ended up doing and it made it sit pretty level. I can never remember, but I think the isolators are 3/4 inches thick.

@MountaineerTom
I know this post was from a while back but what is your wheel/tire setup here? Are those JEEP center caps?
Looks like BFG Mud Terrain? Wondering sizes.
You'll probably have some rake once you've installed the OME springs but it shouldn't be that much, id add a 1" spring spacer to the front to account for the ARB bumperQuestion for those that install OME HD springs. My Jeep LJ has the factory springs with a 2" Skyjacker spacer lift front and rear with Skyjacker Nitro 8000 shocks. I just bought some new OME front and rear HD 2" lift springs (haven't installed them yet). The front end is sitting 2" lower then the rear. I have ARB front and rear bumpersw and a 10k steel cable winch. Has anybody just put OME HD srings in the front and left the factory ones in the rear. I want a level Jeep when I done with it.

Should I do OME HD springs front and rear and just put the 2" front spring spacer back in? How much lift is to much for stock track bars? I just want a level Jeep when I done, I don't really wheel it so a big lift isn't something I'm going for.

In my picture ja little ways above yours, post # 31, I have the OME HD springs. 2933 front and 2942 rear. I think there is an even heavier rear spring but don't know the number off hand.
I have an LOD rear bumper and tire carrier that is pretty heavy. In that pic it has the LOD trail rack attached to the tire carrier but you can't see it easily because it's in the open position. Anyway, I took the time to weigh everything before installing it, except the trail rack. I'd guess it weight 10-15 lbs.
Bumper - 71 lbs
Tire carrier - 39 lbs
31x10.50 tire on Pro Comp aluminum wheel - 64 lbs
When I installed the front part of the lift, I I installed just the springs with the factory spring isolator on top of it. I had more rake than I wanted, similar to your picture. I got the springs from DPG Offroad, and Dirk put another set of factory spring isolator in with my order. He said due to my LOD front bumper, winch plate and winch I might need it. So, I took them out and stack the other set of isolators on top. They measured right at 3/4 inches high, so basically a 3/4 inch spacer. I don't have the weights of the front bumper, winch plate and winch but the winch is heavy (steel cable), the plate is probably 10-15 pounds and I don't know what the bumper weight, but it's significantly heavier than the thin factory one.
Anyway, just wanted to give the the spring numbers I have and the info I have on weights so maybe it could help in your desicion.
Even loaded down with a bunch of junk for staying a week in a beach house, it sits pretty level.
