Just replaced the Thermostat yesterday and put coolant in the Radiator this and came out to this

 
Video worked for me, and sorry for all the dripping you are faced with. From what I have read, make certain both surfaces are 100% surgically clean. Install with only gasket and torque bolts to proper setting. Best of luck on the repair.
 
Video doesn't appear to be working.

I opened it in VLC and it works fine. Here's a screen shot, you can see coolant dripping off the lower left side of the crankshaft pulley.

Leaks can be counted on after replacing the water pump or thermostat if the gasket surfaces weren't completely cleaned of all the old gasket material. Even a barely perceptible iota of anything left behind on the gasket seating surfaces will cause it to leak. I use a scraper then a small wire brush to make sure they're absolutely pristine.
 
100% removal of the old gasket is key. I also use brake parts cleaner to remove any oil or in this case, antifreeze. I like to put the lightest coat of silicon completely covering both sides of the gasket. There is virtually no squish out. I have never had a leak and the gasket is easy to remove even years later.
 
Or the thermostat housing cracked. I can log-in my local jobber store and they always have these housings on the shelf at multiple stores.

I mentioned in an old thread how my Stant Premium thermostat was a hair too large (.001-.002") for the head recess that you couldn't see with the naked eye. Cracked two of them torquing to spec before I found the issue.
 
The video was an my iPhone... I replaced the thermostat and the leak was still there. I replaced the lower hose and the leak was still there. I replaced the water pump and the leak went away.
 
Yesterday when I took out the water pump, it felt gritty when I spun it around and today it’s seized up. Im not sure the lifetime of a water pump but this might be 18 years old.

That type of failure often points to the coolant not having been changed at appropriate intervals.

Make sure to avoid the temptation to go cheap with a store brand water pump, even one with a "lifetime" warranty. They're shoddily made and won't hold up nearly as long as a quality water pump like the Mopar OE pump will. The lifetime warranty on a store brand water pump only means they'll give you a replacement when it fails again, not that it's a good quality replacement. Remember that warranties don't get you home. :)
 
Gotcha, I bought the jeep about 3 years ago so I don’t know what the previous owners did to it. I do know I probably got it from another army guy since the oil change sticker from jiffy lube was from Hawaii and I bought it in Washington and now I’m in Alabama. So, I’m sure being next to the salt water and different humidities hasn’t helped it at all.
