I didn't, but you made me look it up. I don't understand why all that extra stuff would be added as far as body work. Makes it look like they tried to be more aerodynamic, all it needed ws that front wedge like the old Plymouth roadrunner
 
Those Renegade YJs definitely scream late 80s / early 90s, that's for sure.

Nothing about that looks right on a Jeep Wrangler if you ask me.

That's what is so great about the Jeep world. We have the latitude to make our rigs ours. Was never a fan of that model but lifted with larger tires it does look better.

When those were still a concept, Jeep took a few out to the Rubicon Trail because they were thinking of naming it, the Rubicon. But all that awful body kit failed miserably on the trail, so they named it Renegade.

The body kit is a little weird, but if not for the square headlights, all YJ’s would be fine. I’d love an investigative reporting story of the design process/ decision making that produced this particular square shaped abomination.
