Wow! That’s quite the list! Seems like you’ve done quite a few different variations of frame sealing, coating, painting, inner, outer etc. Any particular reason for all the different methods/variations? Once you’ve done 1 type does a 2nd, 3rd etc really add any additional benefit? I’m in the south and my frame doesn’t have a spec of rust. Everyone who looks at it says it looks like it just came from the showroom floor. Perhaps the PO did some sort of coating? I’m the 2nd owner.

Gave her a tank of gas and drove to work yesterday. After last years Upgrade-a-thon I'm still just enjoying the work I put into her. Needing to drop the tank to fix the fuel burp and address a few leaks. Maybe after the Windrock trip next weekend.

Drove it to a site for a raptor survey this morning. 27 degrees heading up into the mountains with snow (I thought spring was here, apparently not). The seat heaters worked well ;)

Wow, that is an awesome shot. Was just getting ready to say this should be in this months drawing till I saw you've already won within the last year. Now we need a new thread called "We aren't allowed to play in the Ride of the Month contest" !

I think the rain is over for a few days so i put the top down for the drive home from work. Got home and parked behind my wife.
Got inside, she's going to a school district board meeting. I say "do you want me to move the jeep?" She says "can i drive it?" I say "sure, you're wearing a hat."

She gets out to the driveway and says "cool, i get to drive it with the top down." She's getting pretty good at climbing in too after driving it all last weekend. At 5'2" it's not easy for her, even stock on 235/75R15 tires.

I'm starting to worry she likes it a little too much. I can't afford another one even though we do need a new vehicle.
My wife is 5'2" as well. She had been squeaking that every season my Jeep gets taller. I'm currently on 33's with about 3" of lift. We were at an event last weekend and there was a guy who had a JK on 35's. She thought it was really nice... So I asked the guy if she could climb in. He had grab bars and she hopped right up. Said they were much better that the cloth handles I put off the top bar for her. So... What's my point?

A). Get a set of grab bars. I ordered them the next day.
B) she implicitly implied that it's ok to move to 35's! :)

Its that extra bit we have to heft our legs over in the TJs that makes the difference. High door sills! Still not nearly as bad as dealing with the CJ5 hump.

Did you do this only to try a solve a DW issue?
The ball joints were all shot and I could twist the bar by hand. It needed to get done anyway. I did the track bar last week and getting tires balanced today. It's amazing what the steering feels like now. (I just bought the jeep so going through everything that I can)
