What did you do to your TJ today?

Finally bit the bullet on a decent order from Crutchfield. The plan is to hide two amps behind the dash, amp the dash speakers and add a sub behind the rear seat in a Stealth Pod. Found a killer deal on a Stealth Pod on FB Marketplace which really helped. $20 compared to almost $200 new 😎

Sister , you may have a loose bolt to the right of that on the purple people eater , I’m not sure.

Good eye. Hubby pointed it out once before, and when I looked at it, it appeared to be in there crooked. I was going to deal with it after I got done doing the differentials, then forgot about it. I don't know what the PO had it off for , but it appears they screwed it up. I do need to look at it and I guess tomorrow would be a good day since I am gong to be under there again anyway. I guess if it is crooked, I will have to have hubby find me a tap and die to rethread it if I can.

Thanks for spotting it. I forgot all about it. :D

In with the new n fresh. Didn't do rotors this time. Next brake change will definitely be new from rotors. About to work on the rear drums, boooo. But yay for stopping (

Today I switched the 02 sensor out. I took it for a drive but can't really say it helped or not. Been driving my PT Cruiser the last couple days, so can't say if the Jeep felt peppier because of the sensor or because it is a 6 cyl compared to the heavy 4cyl. LOL

Here is the old one.

I was even able to get that loose bolt put back in right and tightened up. :D

MORE Motor mount installed and the fan shroud is happy again! That wasn’t as bad as I thought, but the break was good to be fresh at it. It’s just some funky angles - so a good set of extensions for the socket wrench was massively helpful.
