Well, I hope not since here’s another one ;). 05 LJ with 115k on the odometer. Soft top, bone stock. New stock size Firestone’s that will get replaced and sold sooner than later. Interior looks super clean as does all outside pics. No pics or visual of the frame yet. Clean carfax, for what it’s worth. 5 owners, with the last owning it since 2013 and putting on 35k miles it. Been in Ohio and Michigan it’s whole life.

$10,900

I feel like I want to push this with the wife whom is very resistant to this right now, so I need to be sure this is the one before entering the dragons layer lol!!

The only thing that bugs me is people don't pounce on the great deals , and try to make a case for buying one that's gonna be headaches .

Any threads asking about various things regarding the quality of any Jeep is fine with me. Sometimes there are answers that don't make total sense to be but even the worse of those aren't so bad they should be eliminated.

Threads with pictures are much better.

The threads do get a little silly, who cares about the tires, who cares how many owners? Show us the frame or GTFO!
I tend to ignore mileage, tires, rims, and most mods. I want to see the body, interior, and undercarriage, maybe a shot under the hood to see if some level of fuckery is present that can't be un-fuckered. After that, the rest can be readily swapped out and refurbed to decent.

Sums it up nicely.

No it isn't. Throw it away and start over.

Ok... Technically, you can't "fix" rust. You CAN fix a rusty frame by cutting the rust out and replace the steel... Which was my point.

West coast meet Michigan; middle American meet the west coast

All of the 15+ Ohio/Michigan/indiana/Illinois /Pennsylvania jeeps I looked at and drove had severe rust issues. I realize my experience is but a small sample, but it reinforces the belief that the odds of finding a rust-free Midwest rig are fairly low. Btw, most frames had fresh paint jobs too--with insides that held very expensive and demoralizing consequences for the naive or tunnel visioned "I got to have a TJ now so I'll convince myself it is minor surface rust" Pollyanna Wrangler buyer. I wasted a lot of time around here before expanding my search area. Although I learned much on the journey. Just my 2 cents.

Don’t buy a mid-west Jeep. It will have rust. Every bolt will give you grief.

This site has a Jeeps for sale forum. Look for a desert Jeep and take your wife on a nice holiday.

Literally no one can answer this question without photos of the vehicle in question, especially the frame.

So, if you were to ask "Do you guys ever get tires of is this a good deal threads", I would reply to you by saying, "Yes, I get tired of them with they don't include photos of the vehicle or the frame". :ROFLMAO:

Now hopefully I didn't scare you off. I wasn't trying to be a dick, just having a bit of fun at your expense ;)

Obligatory...

This thread is worthless without pics

I guess that’s truly the underlying question and issue here for me. Prices are all over the place I get lost trying to determine if it’s a jump on it now deal or what kind of “fuckery” don’t I realize I’m getting into.
