Kind of a shot in the dark here but my father in law bought a Jeep and there is a wheel lock on the 5th wheel.. but no key. Does anyone have knowledge of what key he needs to buy?

If all else fails, pound on a socket that is slightly smaller than the lock nut. Make sure it isn't a socket to a set that you like. That or take it to a local muffler shop and haVe them weld a bolt to it

I’d pound an old socket on it and then turn it off with an impact wrench or breaker bar. Do that to all 4 and thrown them away. Replace with normal wheel nuts. They are completely pointless and once you remove them you’ll see why. They’re easy to remove. Anybody idiot taking the time to steal a wheel knows this.

That’s the wheel I worry about being stolen. I haven’t really figured out a way to prevent it other than to make it heavy. 🤣
And I wasn’t in any way implying That you’re an idiot. People who take wheels are idiots. I didn’t intent to sound harsh.
Oh no worries I didn't take it that way. My '00 is the same way, only one wheel lock on the spare... and the only reason it's still there is I haven't had a reason take the spare off yet. The key for it was in the center console when I bought the Jeep in February. I should probably take the lock off before I need to because I have seen those style lock keys fail at the worst opportune time!!! Like you said if someone really wants to steal wheels those locks aren't a deterrent... At best they keep honest people honest and give owners a headache!! I replaced the bottom stud on the spare mount for my first TJ with a length of all thread that I cross drilled and put pin lock in.
