What’s your mileage cutoff in a search?

I'm currently looking for my first Wrangler (TJ or LJ) and my flexible cutoff is about 120k. When I first started my search, I was considering those with 150k+ miles, but after seeing quite a few pop up below 100k, I started to get more picky. I want to wait for one that I know would be a good fit, but I'm also so eager to buy one.

I look to about 175,000. A vehicle with low miles can have just as many problems as a high mileage one when we are talking this many years since new. Often a higher mileage one has had many systems replaced with new so it ends up being in better mechanical shape.
Up here in the salt belt rust is the biggest factor in a vehicle more so than milage.

Unmolested, stock, and rust free would take priority over mileage, but I'd prefer under 150K at the age these are getting to be. Mechanical parts are much easier to fix than rust or someone's hack job on the body. Heck my '98 only has 97,000 on the clock and it's getting completely rebuilt due to rust (younger idiot me drove it in the winter).

A Jeep not used is a useless Jeep.

This is very true. I got mine new and played hard in it for a time. Then my job carried me further than I wanted to take a jeep as a DD. I got into motocycles so didn't need a top off for wind in my face. It sat a lot and really became my winter weather driver. That was awful for it. Rust set in like fast moving cancer. Many systems fail from lack of use and maintenance. A vehicle needs to be used to stay in shape.

When I was looking for one at the beginning of the year, I tried to get under 100K. But they were a little to expensive.
I eneded up getting one with 133K
