Aside from the obvious person (me), anyone want to take any wild guesses as to who we might see in a TJ again one day? You know, former TJ owners (such as myself) who sold it, then realize that it was a big mistake.

Could it be @glwood? What about @JamesAndTheSahara? Maybe @tomtaylz will realize it's just another Chevy or @xackley will need another project. Hell, even @Rob5589 might one day wake up and realize that he misses the 4 angry squirrels!

And then of course there's always the ominous @Starrs—who is always looking, but never touching ;)

So who will we vote "most likely to own a TJ again"? Any guesses? :ROFLMAO:

My money would have been on @Chris the way he started talking about it again, but he looks to be moving to a new house. That could be a distraction.

After that, I'm not sure who it could be. @Starrs seems to be like teflon after looking at 3.47 million listings, so I'm not sure about that either.

@tomtaylz might have a vanilla Chevy now, but admittedly better reliability takes him across the deserts and mountains now. Damn OPDA's!

Haven't seen @glwood on here in a while, but maybe he is about ready to cave like @Squatch is predicting.

@Rob5589 definitely needs a 4.0L this time, and even then, he can still gear the hell out it by himself from what I have read on here. But, then again, he may have his hands busy with customer projects and not want his own TJ to work on and worry about.

Now I’m scouring the interwebs for TJs again lol. I hate this forum
All the research and prior ownership was just a warm-up right? LOL

Yep, the day we close on the house is the day I will start looking for one, haha. February 28th!

And it looks like I am likely wrong on this already!

Defenitly Chris, You'll think about buying a JL, go for a test drive, see the price tag....then boom you'll come out of a blackout in a low mileage TJ/LJ in your garage and wonder what happened.

That's what happened to me. It's a real thing. Lol

Chris has to Next....Forum Rule 121 Section 4 Part b ...Vicarious Membership-.........any said member OR ADMINISTRATOR who fails to qualify with TJ ownership for 18 consecutive months will be allowed to remain an additional 120 days after the following January 1 on a probationary basis until a TJ is acquired. Scale models do not count.

It does go on to state .......” if extenuating circumstances prevail , such as purchase of a primary dwelling, this may be reviewed by the Forum Regearing Committee, which will serve as adjunct counsel . Although said appellant may get a hardship continuation of forum privileges , such matters as taxes, home ownership, child support, 401k contributions and so forth that may be viewed as mature and responsible by society in general, do not necessarily reflect the Forum viewpoint toward TJ ownership as a prudent use of funds.”

I’ll never, ever be able to justify paying that much for what I consider to be a “recreational vehicle”. They are nice for sure, but just priced way too much for me to even want to consider.

Plus, as much as I like a clean JKR, the simplicity of the TJ is what really seals the deal. I like knowing that I can work on the cash irk myself if necessary. With the JK I felt like that was damn near impossible.
