For those of you sheltering in place, are you working on your Jeep projects?

So far BC is hoping for voluntary compliance and not using "shelter in place" which shuts down the entire economy. But we are under Emergency Measures Legislation which gives the Police considerable powers to enforce the 2M law and Ban on Large Groups Gathering.

Fines up to $10K and 6 months in jail are now enforceable for those flagrantly ignoring the legislation.

Places like New York, on the cusp of a massive epidemic are in a different league than those of us living in rural locations but remember as you reach for that nozzle on the gas pump, CORVID 19 can live 48 hours on a plastic surface.

Same at the ATM.

I wish. No paychecks keep projects on hold. Good luck everyone. 😑

I feel you. I'm still lucky enough to have some coming in (for now), but decided to put the new steering components, wheels & tires on hold at the moment.

I have been told I will be off work for 4-6 weeks. I hope to get a few things done on my off road camping trailer, raised TC skid, trans and engine skid and some new coil springs.

I am expendab....er.....essential.

Would like to do some work on the Jeep, but the rain is as bad (or worse) than the stay at home orders. Maybe I can get the new vents snapped into the hard top at least.

I put new headlights in, KC Gravity Pro. In doing so I stripped the torx head of one of the adjustment screws. So I have new brackets coming in. I have 3 coming in. A replacement and 2 more to attempt to modify. I have to make the headlights sit further in the grille to make it so #1 they don't extend far out and look dumb and #2 so I can get the bezel screws in.

I also have an adjustable rear track bar to put in. A switch panel to build. And wiring to clean. If only it'd stop raining

I set my toe-in after doing the ZJ upgrade last Friday. I ordered M.O.R.E 1.5" MML, Savvy 1.25" BL, new Body Mount bushings and bought a set of Rubicon Rocker guards off of CL. Once all materials arrive I will get down to it. Next new sneakers. The sidewalls are started to crack on these cheap ass Walmart tires that came with my Ravine wheels I bought off of CL.
Lou

Any tips for the ZJ stuff - this has been on my to-do list for the better part of a year and I'm finally gonna have time once the weather warms up a bit? Watched the video probably 30 times now and it looks pretty simple as long as everything comes off the way it is supposed to...

they shut my plant down today, so as long as i can get some fair weather the Jeep will be a priority.

It's life as usual for me. I still have to go to work.

I did put new shocks on the Jeep last weekend though. :D

Critical Industry Employee, so life goes on as usual if the state gets locked down.
Now that month's worth of paid vacation I’ve been sitting on is sounding pretty good. 🤣

I’m moving from 2” to 4” springs, but the added home stressors of kids home all the time limits the garage time.

still close to this status...

Fluids—engine, transmission, transfer case yesterday. If the weather warms up a bit, I'll tackle the front diff which is overdue.

In Alabama you can't eat with strangers in public but you can marry your cousin.

I just drove 30 miles round trip to spend $1.44 on something that didn't amount to a hill of beans on my 06... More of an excuse to drive it than anything.

If we get quarantined, @Hog and I are going to social distance ourselves and hit a trail.

One problem I'm running into is my wife is coming up with house projects faster than I can get Jeep parts.
