I could get in on some of this, for sure! Kris we was supposta leave this Tuesday for a full week of rockn in Moab, chit! JMT would be great to get back together.
Well I haven't been to Moab since 2008 so I'd love to go again. Right now it more depends on if I get my TJ running and driving again. I camped both times I was down there before but I don't have my camper anymore.
One trail I didn't see on anyone's list is Pritchett Canyon. It has to be my FAVORITE trail. But I'd like to do the Golden Crack & a few others I've never done.
If I win the lotto my daughter might have her Jeep ready by then also. She'd love to drive some of the easier trails. She spent her 6th & 7th birthdays down there.

When I tried to research camping sites through the internet and by phone it was a pain in the butt. Most sites are first come first serve. You’re driving in blind, no clue where or if you will get a site and $20/night. If you arrive on a Thursday your more likely to get a site. Then I noticed that people were camping off the side of the road. This was just out of town, along the river on the north side. Looked like free camping, first come first serve. There’s also the local Lazy Lizard Hostel, conveniently located just south of town $8/night. No trailers, but bbq pits and a shared fire. Could be interesting. When I went we stayed at Moab Valley RV Resort and Campground for the first three nights. Nice place $70/night tent camping, all amenities including hot tub, pool, mini golf, showers, et al., conveniently located on north side.

I'll have to rent a place, no two ways about that.
If it was me and my oldest daughter, we would camp. However, no way in hell my wife is going to do that with all the kids, that's for sure

That’s a great location if you want to be in the center of the action. Lots within walking distance
Does staying in an RV count as camping? Lol! @Alex01, simplify my lift height to 3.5" lift please. I have lots of spare Dana 44 axle shafts if anyone needs some.
We got together with some fellow jeepers and rented a house in Rim Village last time we went. Split up it was less then $150 a night, which I thought was a pretty good deal for a house with a garage. The garage was nice cause we could store our hardtops, and change a radiator.
