Our daughter turns 1!

Tis coming Saturday our daughter turns 1. Hard to believe it's gone by so fast. Despite the early issues we had with her kidney and the 10 day hospital scare, she's thriving and doing better than ever. She's a little on the small side, but that's okay!

Cute kid. Happy birthday to her and glad she's well now. I've never been in a parent's shoes but I remember some scares my parents had with my brother and sister years ago and I don't think any parent ever wants to be in that position. Hope things stay the way they are.

Outstanding news. If you can't believe how quick a year goes by now, just wait until they hit the school years. Time just seems to accelerate. My oldest is in the second grade and i can't believe it's been 8 years already since we brought her home. Congratulations on making it through the first year with your youngest. Glad everything is well.

Time sure does fly! Our other daughter is already 4 1/2, and that time has gone by incredibly fast.

I'm glad that our youngest daughter's medical troubles haven't continued to follow her. It seems that it's all behind us now (knock on wood) because she's definitely thriving these days. I'll tell you, those earlier hospital visits were very stressful and hard to handle (especially for my wife who stayed overnight for 10 days!).

Thanks for all the birthday wishes... What do you even get a 1 year old? Haha!

The messiest most colorful birthday cake you can find. And just let her go to town the beauty is that after she's done you can hose her and the jeep off at the same time. Just remember to pull the drain plugs ;-)

She's a keeper Chris! Congrats! They do grow up fast. My youngest daughter has a two boys(14 months and 5 months), and it's fun to watch them grow. They grow so fast!
