Had code reader say misfire on cylinder 2 and coil pack 1. I replaced all 6 plugs and put a new coil pack on my 2006 TJ, cleared the codes, but they came right back and then the coil pack 1 got so hot it burned up before l could do a test drive with reader! Any ideas?

Back to the antiseize where I mentioned above it is conductive. If any of that antiseize on the threads got on the openings for the spark plug as you inserted them, it's entirely possible that excess antiseize got on the electrodes as you inserted them.

Antiseize on the electrodes would be bad news, it can short the spark voltage dead to ground.

Check the harness going around the back of the valve cover that goes towards the front on the drivers side of the valve cover. When the wiring in that harness gets chafed by the rubbing against the head bolt or valve cover... this will affect engine operation in numerous ways depending upon which wire gets chafed.
