Thanks man! Those cats are a PITA...why they had to be enigneered with the bolts hidden behind the flanges is beyond me!Exhaust looks so much better going around the oil pan. Head unit looks good too nice work!

My LJ had that O2 sensor issue dealt with under warranty 2 years ago when I bought it. I required the seller to get it smogged before I bought it, so it was his problem.Update: Got mongo smogged with flying colors. I ended up having to take it to the dealership to have the O2 sensor readiness monitor issue fixed, and they also did the transmission lockout recall. Didn‘t pay a dime either! Thanks warranty!
Gimme that khaki top first!Lets get this build moving, we want to spend your money! hahaha
Anyone looking for a hard top?
Congratulations, nice ride.Hey all! I just received my 2006 LJ Rubicon! Purchased from TX with only 81k miles on it. I’ve given it a good look over and it came with some cool goodies (and some not so cool quirks). Overall I’m incredibly stoked. What I know:
-Hardtop - cool but I miss the sun rider on my JK (lemme know of y’all got one)
-6 speed-STOKED
Poweraid TB spacer (WOOOHOOO MORE POWER) - not
-Rancho shocks with compressor for adjustable feel
-has a pretty big lift (4”?) need help ID’ing brand/size
-Champion aluminium radiator/fan with painless wiring harness
-some Chinabilt bumpers/sliders which are coming off ASAP
-Black rock wheels with some beefy BFG Mud Terrains
-Warn winch without a controller (need help ID’ing model so I can get a controller)
-otherwise stock and in solid shape

Is it me or does that look like a dropped pitman in the 4th photo from the bottom?Suspension/Winch update with better pictures! I had to add the bump stop picture just because it’s hilarious. I did note some initials on one of the control arms “MS”

I believe it is!Is it me or does that look like a dropped pitman in the 4th photo from the bottom?
Properly set up, there is no reason to have that and it can cause (or contribute to) bad bump steer. Replace with OEM or similar.I believe it is!
Turns out it is indeed...that explains the crap steering feelProperly set up, there is no reason to have that and it can cause (or contribute to) bad bump steer. Replace with OEM or similar.
Haven’t done away with it yet, but I am not the biggest fan of the looks or the fact that it leaves the whole hood open to the elements. What made you decide to get rid of the louvered hood? Just looks? Or was it actually hurting something?
I have been debating it. Kinda like the looks and any heat reduction down here is a good thing. Same kinda Concerned about the open to the elements, but I was also thinking about how much water gets splashed up driving down the road or puddle crashing. Idk.Haven’t done away with it yet, but I am not the biggest fan of the looks or the fact that it leaves the whole hood open to the elements.
Yeah very true. I am also not the biggest fan of the giant Poison Spyder logo on it.I have been debating it. Kinda like the looks and any heat reduction down here is a good thing.
