Finished installing the radiant heat loops today, should be a nice cozy place to work. Should be pouring the slab on Tuesday

How big are you making your garage? I can't wait until I get to build a house and garage (when I get near retirement). I'm going 4 bays and 9' tall doors. Enough space for 3 cars and a workshop. With tall ceilings and a loft area for storing all my wife's crap.

Wait... It's not raining???

Nope, not raining, (yet) it's actually been beautiful since the first of the month with only one rainy day since. They were going to pour tomorrow but there are passing showers in the forecast so Wednesday looks good.

Oh good! I hope you get it done soon. This year has been one of the rainiest I can remember in a long time!

Finished setting up the compressed air system today, picked up a nice piping kit from Northern Tool that included pretty much everything needed.

I heat my entire house and garage with Radiant heating and can't say enough good about it.
I spend the whole winter in the garage.
You'll enjoy the warm floor while working on your vehicle's.

My last house was 100% radiant and we loved it, it's the best.

I like radiant also. My house is not but is hydronic and I love it too. A cool thing is you can easily hook onto other sources beyond propane if you are into more work https://www.motherearthnews.com/organic-gardening/jean-pain-zmaz80mazraw
Not really a Mother Earth guy but I read this years ago when fuel prices skyrocketed — maybe if Zombies attack-- it is using biomass (in this case shredded wood chips in a pile with coiled water line in it -but any organic waste would do)
