Any suggestions on a way to haul a deer, without removing the back seat or damaging the Jeep?

Yep, cargo rack. I have one that folds up out of the way when not in use. Also useful for wet dirty gear, trash, coolers, etc.

If you forget its on I would imagine there's a huge possibility of backing into things.
I was going to get one for camping gear but we have to install tail lights and an auxiliary number plate :(

Huh????

We haul lots of deer with back seat in place and being used by passengers.

Ready?

Rear window up or unzipped and put up.

Open tail gate.

Take deer with legs pointing straight up.

Lift...place in jeep behind seat with legs pointing up.

It WILL fall right into that area behind the seat. (Unless you've allowed the deer to freeze up.)

Close gate. Might take a little oomph if your deer is thick...replace window or re-zip.

Go home.

Skin.

Back straps and the fish at 8:00 p.m. 😎🚬

You have some SMALL deer back east. They are about the size of a large German Shepard out west we have BIG deer.

Ummm...no.

A large German shepherd would be a tiny ...tiny deer here.

The only one we ever had an issue with was one my son shot a few years back. It was a freak of nature though. It was 250# dressed.

Stick the hoofs up..throw it in there. It will flop down in the hole making like a U shape. Not all of it but enough to get it closed up and home.

If I was going after bigger game I wouldn't take the Jeep. I've got a 7.3 Excursion for any heavy lifting. 😎

While capable, the TJ just isn’t the ideal hunting vehicle. I’d much rather just toss the deer in the bed of my F150.
