Any Star Wars lore fans here?

I haven’t watched it yet. Caught up with with this series as the kids loved it.....I fell in love with it. Very “Western” feel to it and love the story. It hooked me more into SW lore than anything yet.
Worth the watch and make sure you watch all the credits.

Yeah it caught me off guard as I kept thinking this was in the future....and here comes young LS....
Exactly my thought

Just got rumbling theater seats in my movie room. Considering showing the kids “the way” and watching all of the Star Wars movies

The Master LS we should have gotten in the sequel trilogy. Hopefully we get more. He’s busy with marvel right now, but Sebastian Stan (Mark Hammil’s son) is almost a damn near clone of younger Hammil.

LOVE Star Wars seen every movie first run in a theater which was hard to do when rouge one came out as I just moved to Spain but did find a theater that played it in English. Every cartoon/tv show with my kid and because of him we are starting to get into the comics. Earlier today my son and I were just playing Lego mandalorians vs the empire. wookieepedia is a book on my phone since my son Is on it so much and can tell you about the most obscure characters.
My daughter not so much but she doesn’t judge us too much lol

The last two days I've been binging reactions to this episode on YouTube. It's been so great seeing my thoughts and emotions mirrored with others. So much of my childhood was spent in the EU and seeing this... After the absolute travesty that is the sequel trilogy is... cathartic, incredible, emotional... Just... something I needed.

What Star Wars has meant to me growing up, how much I love the EU and the characters, to see some get their due is absolute magic.

I'm such a happy Star Wars fan.

He's not. He was born in 1982, in Romania.

Mark Hamill has three children, who are indeed more or less Sebastian's age, but Sebastian is not actually one of them.
What I see on the Net shows Max Lloyd-Jones acting parts of it, and a CGI - de-aged Mark Hamill doing voice/face shots.

Quote:

The credits for the finale lists actor Max Lloyd-Jones (War of the Planet of the Apes) as the “Double for Jedi.” Presumably, he played Luke during the bits when the Jedi Master was mowing down Dark Troopers, that being a bit much to ask of the 69-year-old Hamill.

Still, he wasn’t the only person involved. Mark Hamill was actually on set for filming and did more than just provide Luke’s voice. He shot Luke’s conversation with the group, with VFX technology used to make him look like the younger Luke we remember from the original trilogy. That’s some impressive work right there, although YouTuber Shamook thinks it can be improved upon. Is his deepfake video even more seamless? You decide:

Hamill tweeted that managing to keep this scene secret was “nothing less than a miracle,” and we have to agree. “A real triumph for spoiler-haters everywhere!” But of course, the show began its existence with a big reveal that didn’t get out beforehand. “We started off the whole series with the Baby Yoda reveal – with the Grogu reveal – that was a secret that everybody was really blown away by,” Favreau told Good Morning America. “Part of that is not telling too many people, not having merchandise that’s being tooled up and announced and everything. And then the very last episode having Mark Hamill actually on set filming and us using whatever technology we had available to de-age him and try to make him look as much like he did in the old films.”

Well I named my first born son Luke and I have a dog named Yoda. I did have a green light to name our first girl Leia, but we ended up with 3 boys. Couldn't get the green light for Han or Ben.

So yes, I'm a fan!

I've seen all the movies and Mandalorian.
