What did you do to your TJ today?

Oil change, tire rotation, brake fluid flush. The first 3 bleeders were 10 mm the last one was 3/8 and I came very close to stripping it with the 10mm wrench. The pic below is what I sucked out of the brake fluid reservoir. I also did some general maintenance like BreakFree the trackball and shock bolts and torque the control arm jam nuts.

If you don't already have it, a 6 point box wrench is much better to use than the normal 12 point ones. Way less likely to strip out!

A stock swaybar will impede the suspension from articulating fully especially if you have a suspension lift. Those disconnects you have allow your suspension to articulate to the max of shock extension and max compression allowed by your bump stops or your tire body contact. The Antirock is a smaller diameter torsion rod compared to the stock bar and therefore allows more torsional twist. No need for disconnects.
About how much is an Antirock Suaybar cost? Maybe it would be worth the cost.

Yes, I have the long handled 6 point wrenches that are means for brake bleeders. I was just tired and angry after rotating 35 inch tires and got a little careless on the last one. I should have been ready for there to be different sizes.

Fixed my AC/Heat blend door issue and it was exactly what I thought it would be. I talked the guy down $500 on my last Jeep with the same issue after his mechanic told him it would cost $400 to fix it. One drop of Dollar store super glue. I'm too cheap to pay $6 for a new knob.

I had the same thing happen to my fan speed knob a few years ago. A not-so-reputable shop tried to convince me that it was a whole other (expensive) issue that needed to be fixed. I switched it with the temperature knob and called it a day 🤣

Never went back to that shop 😡

I got around to modifying my morryde tailgate reinforcement bumpers.

i grabbed some 2" nylon round stock and a pack of 85mm long M6x1 stainless bolts from mcmaster-carr.
no hockey pucks or mallet heads here.

the spacers for my 35" BFgoodrich KM3 on 3.75" backspacing ended up needing 2-1/8" spacers for the gate and a 2-3/16 spacer for the tub
basically 3/4" and 13/16" longer than the spacers morryde sends with the kit.

Pop some BMW seats in Andy...Get back to me.
I follow you man, I work next door to a BMW service specialist.

I'm not comparing luxury european sedan seats to 03-06 TJ seats, just saying the earlier ones seem better padded, and feel taller.

My '98 seats sucked, would have felt better had been 2x4's w/ an old pillow.....pick and pull, $120/ pair, leather sport seats.
The only thing that would make better would be a happy ending after every drive...oh, wait, that's my wife's job;)

I've ridden in a buddy's 99 that are clapped out. I thought maybe it was the Sahara seats being better, but @Boogieman said it's they were only upholstered different.

I just know @Hog s are really nice, and my TJ's have less miles than his.
