Let's see your TJ in your garage

I finished building this garage last year. I had a plan in my mind of what I wanted and went to work. 12' ceiling, 36 wide by 32 deep. I have friends that tell me I didn't make it big enough... My reply is, "it's big enough for me to get my shit done but not big enough to store your junk".

I am truly blessed to see a dream like this come through.

Since Mrs Willy got hurt and we need the space in the garage to get her in and out of her van, the plans for "Ol Blue" to move in there fell apart. So, I took some of that stimulus money the government was insisting on throwing our way and got a Jeep Port! Now I just need one of those "Jeep Parking Only" signs to keep the riff raff (kid's cars) out.

Interesting. I have never seen construction done that way. Is that architect designed and permitted? I understand every area is different but I enjoy learning.

If you are speaking of our shop, no permit needed in rual Alabama where we live, we told the contractor what we wanted and he built it. The concrete floor is 8" thick. 36x56 shop, with 13' roll up doors, 1 man door and 1 10' roll up side door. It also has a 20' wide side shed built on.
