My wife needs a medication called Xifaxan which is $2000 here in the United States since we don’t have insurance.

We just discovered this after trying to drop off the prescription at the pharmacy.

My question is if anyone knows of any international pharmacies that can fill this prescription for us for much cheaper.

We found this one but I am debating whether it’s legit or not:

Has anyone ever used an international pharmacy or similar to fill in otherwise expensive prescription?

I’ve used these folks and can vouch that they are real. https://www.onlinepharmaciescanada.com/
They don’t take credit cards, or maybe they use American Express which I don’t have. I had to send them a blank check which was scary, but they were on the up and up. The phone call to them, even spooks me out. Your on hold for a very long time and it sounds like your in a cave talking to them.

I can vouch for this. Or not. I’m mean in Minecraft.

You seriously sent them a blank check? So they could fill in the amount?

Fuck that

For what it’s worth, 42 of these pills costs $2000 at every single pharmacy within 100 miles of me.

Online it’s $95 for 42 pills from the Canadian pharmacies 😆

Yes, their meds are what they are worth.

Have family that travels to Mexico for meds. In Minecraft.

Have you tried GoodRx at all? No idea how it works or how they make money, but my girlfriend just showed the pharmacist a qr code on the app and it took like 70% off the price of her meds

Haven’t had any experience with the Canadian pharmacies, but I might trust them more than Mexican ones.
There’s plenty of adds for getting the little blue pill from the Canadian pharmacies, don’t see why other drugs would be a problem.

Give ‘em a call and see what happens. Worst case, you’re off to Mexico.

I guess it’s not really a blank check. You write “VOID” in all the important spots. Amount, signature, payee. Still sending a check like that wasn’t comfortable. But when it’s a cancer drug your prescription provider won’t sell to you, you do what you gotta do.

Thats somewhat better, they needed account and routing access.

Have you looked into compounding pharmacies? A couple of our dogs needed super expensive meds for a couple of years and our vet turned us on to them.

Way cheaper than getting from a vet or traditional chain pharmacy (these were meds humans take for other ailments).

There are a quite a few here in the east valley. May be worth a little Google search and calls to a few (prices can vary).
