What did you do to your TJ today?

Driving the old bushings out was a bit of a chore, but definitely worth it. They really do make a difference.
I have to agree with you there.....my problem is now they are so tight I don't think I can get the doors off for summer....( I really hope I'm wrong)

Autozone had these kc’s on sale.
Also jumped on the Toyota headlight bandwagon. All in for less than $200

"NAFFing it up" basicity ratting it a bit!
So Ok I hate the all Black duco shows every bit of trail rash and sun damage so I decided to try my RR plastic front fender covers, I know its "Naff" to you guys but I have no choice either get it re painted and polish it every week or break up the colour.
I got these stick on ABS covers for free a month or two ago but they are $200 a set in OZ so I put them on. Anyway this shit does not fit a wider painted Sahara type flare and I spent over 3 hour with a Dremel in hand trying to fit them! No biggie as they are easy off, Next a Flat black hood decal to match my flat black fender top covers (also did not need).
If you love TJ,s never buy a Black one unless you like Yellow lol. :(

I see a lot of yellow accents in your future!!!!!

Black shows dust and dirt more, it shows scratches more, but it sure sets of bright accent colors!!!!

I'll find out next spring. The main reason I replaced them is that the old bushings were so bad, I had to use a jack to remove the passenger side door.:D

I may let you keep him he drove a skid steer into a garage wall that we had just built!! It actually worked out ok- he was working real hard- He has to learn somewhere. I do not want my kids to get out in the world and not know how to do anything

Send him my way! I will take him to work with me and teach him how to work on fork lifts and Jockey trucks. The 2 dirtiest things at our plant to work on, and the bosses think I love working on them

Drove it a good 45 miles to ready my EVAP sensor, only to have my o2 check engine pop up. My jeep is not destined to pass inspection.
Maybe try inserting a spark plug defouler if it's a bad pre-cat that does not cause drivability issues (cat is not plugged) and you just need to pass emissions.

In my experience, doing so prevents your upstream/downstream sensors from reading similar voltage and tripping the CEL. Just make sure you install the defouler on the correct bank S2.

Mine was the opposite.. the inner sleeve was s bad the door didn't sit quite level and was hitting the door jam....I think if i can get them off I will grind down the pin that sits in the hinge to give it a 'smidge' more room..

Installed a Jones turbo tube muffler. Replaced the bulky flow master that was rubbing the driveline at stuff/flex.

At the end of the project, I covered a non compliant sticker with a few forum compliant stickers.

Drove round trip 500 miles plus sight seeing to Pigeon Forge,Tenn. for our 28th anniversary. Had a great weekend, top down in Cades Cove and around Gatlinburg.

Centramatic wheel balancers surprised me by taking a fairly new set of mud tires from shaking the Jeep at 55-60 to smooth as glass up to 75-80 as the tires “wore in” to proper balance at speed. It was a relief to feel 33” mud tires on beadlocks actually go from “maybe we should turn around and drive the Lincoln” to “ I’m so thrilled, so glad we brought it.”

Friday night leaving The Island, a large tourist attraction I found some ne’er do well had removed a KC smiley cover and laid it in front of my right rear tire. Pure evil.

I plan to recreate the events of Friday, Oct 24 at approximately 10 p.m. at The Island in Pigeon Forge in a coming thread. Please don’t let your children read it. Crime of such heinous nature is best left to adult audiences.
