Hello fellow Jeepers,

So… for the longest time now I’ve been wanting to upgrade my stock suspension on my 05 tj. But life happens and that budget went to something else. Finally the suspension is getting so bad that I’ve decided it’s time to make my move.
Now I’ve looked over and over into different kits and liked some and others not so much. So I decided to piece my own kit. As of some kits are no longer are made as a kit, but it is still available as individual parts. So long story short I need help getting what’s left in the must/need list to make this complete. Keep in mind this is a daily with some weekend dirt action but nothing too crazy.

This is what I got so far seating in my garage waiting for install:

Rock Krawler 3.5” triple rate coils (RK02001) front & (RK00215) rear.
Fox shocks front (980-24-643)
Fox shocks rear (985-24-086)

This next list is what I have in a cart ready to buy. Do i need to change/add anything to this list?
Jks Manufacturing rear adjustable end links (2942)
Jks Manufacturing front quicker disconnects (2001)
Teraflex 1” transfer case lowering kit (1900103)

I’ve heard that pitman arms and control arms aren’t really that necessarily needed for my lift height. Which is why I’ve decided not to add those parts to my list. 🤷‍♂️

Let me know what I need next. Thanks in advance.

First things first: What tire size are you going with?

For 3.5" of lift I'd add adjustable length track bars, front and rear.
Right!…. That’s the other I forgot to mentioned. I wanted to to go with the Rock Krawler adjustable front and rear trackbars. But I cant seem to find them. Any suggestions…? I do have the Currie Currectlynk tie rod/drag link system. Idk if that would make a difference.

3.5" without a SYE is a little sketchy, a MML by itself might be enough. If not a small 1/2" or so tcase drop too should be enough.

True. I'm also guessing for the intended use it will be fine.

Also you are correct - don't mess with the pitman arm, and don't use a track bar drop bracket.

You should probably also look at adjusting your bumpstops and I've seen when you cross over 3" of suspension lift, you should get extended brake lines.

Ok so add …
-Extended brake lines
-track bar (front&rear) (don’t use bracket if supplied)
-bump stops
-keep original pitman arm
Anything else?

Or any suggestions on brands. Any brand that I should definitely stay away from?

I was looking in the this one…

…but seems a bit pricey. I know; you get what you pay for but this a little too much for my budget.

JKS or Currie for the front track bar, and Rough Country adjustable for the rear. I know, I know, I said bad words, but I've seen the RC track bar recommended here multiple times.

Someone mentioned that I need a coil spacer for the front end when putting on the new springs. It’s this true/necessary, if so what are my options? Anything specific I need to know?
