Hello Guys....first time on this forum and thought this would be great resource from Jeep Enthusiasts. I have 2006 Rubicon Unlimited, auto with 31,750 actual miles (will let pic speak for itself) with Blue Ox 10,000 lb tow bar, bikini top and receiver attachment for 2 x 5 gal fuel tanks. In December, replaced battery, inspected/tagged and serviced engine/all fluids inspected....this Jeep is ready to roll.
I bought some land and its time to let my baby go (want Tractor and UTV).
Based on my research, this model is rare and in high demand.
I have a price range in mind. I'm asking for any feedback about good fair market value or offer. Thanks for your time and any info.

You can get at least 25k easy. That’s a clean, low mileage, nicely modified LJ Rubicon. You may even be able to get closer to 30k!

You are going to easily get 25K + for a clean LJ Rubicon I would list it nationwide, too. People are willing to travel for a rust free TJ/LJ.

I agree with the above. With that mileage and being that clean (smart to keep it in the garage), you should have no problem selling at that price range. That is just a little under original sticker price. It's a shame you don't take it with you!

To get the most out of that low mile beast, I would make sure you market it nationally. People will fly for one with that low miles and from Texas. I looked in Texas for other cars specifically because the market seems a bit soft for some cars and the cars in in VERY good condition down there. I can't comment on price and would yield to the responses you have so far.

Something like that will bring very little compared to a TJ. It appears you are a good guy. As a result, I would be willing to drive to Texas and trade you title for title because you will have much better luck selling my Jeep as opposed to yours.

Our original plan was to get motor home and trailer the Jeep but decided to invest in land for retirement. Lets just say our priorities have changed as we get older and would rather sell the Jeep to someone that will use it. Thanks for your reply.

I may take you up on offer if you had nice tractor or skid steer.

Great!! Do you know good site to list?

Over the summer I sold a car via autotrader.com. I would list there, craigslist, cars .com etc.

I HIGHLY recommend getting an app to disguise your phone number for calls and texts, and also a second email for this. I used one called Sideline and set up a yahoo email. You will receive calls from wacky people, bored people who want to talk, people that want to sell the car for you, people who want to help your Buyer finance the car. It is brutal!

Great car by the way!

That thing is a beauty. Pretty much the nicest LJ seen for sale around here. Good luck with the sale. I cannot see that sitting around for long.

Very good advice.....I do have 2nd email & unable to answer personal calls during business hours so if I can avoid will not list my phone number in ad. Thanks for info...have great weekend.

I would say Autotrader is still the top dog, then Cars and then Car Gurus. I think if anyone is looking they would have Autotrader on the radar as it is still the biggest game in town. You could just try CL at the beginning and expand outward. You might get lucky with a local buyer. Sort of luck of the draw.

If you want to also hit the Canadian market you can try listing on autotrader.ca and kijiji.ca

It may not help you and TJs and LJs tend to be cheaper up here but you never know when someone may have their heart set on a clean southern jeep. They are both free to list on so it's only your time. Importing a stock vehicle is fairly easy into Canada. A modified one is hit and miss but switch the tires and springs, who'd know.

There must have been a time
when we could have said no.
