After spending so much time to give this TJ a great departure angle and a nice look I honestly didn’t want to see the ugly trailer wiring. Drilled out the method center cap and a few twists later the 7pin pushed in. Secured with silicone so I can disassemble easily. Wiring is now ran through...

Came up with a nice solution for the trailer wiring. The 7 pin trailer wiring was a bit longer so I utilized the center cap as a mounting point. Hole drilled out the center cap with a 1 1/2” bit and walla! It shimmied in and a little silicone holds it in place nicely.

Went ahead and installed a two inch lift kit to balance out the trailer. Jeep wasn’t wired yet so I had to use our pickup to tow it around.

The larger 235/85/16 tires didn’t quite cut it for me so I bumped the tire size to 255/85/16 tires.

That was the basic write up on the jeep when I got it. I had discussd that with another person and I believe you are right. Devils in the details. Either way it has new drive shafts and no slip yoke! Thanks man

All of the true weight is distributed evenly via the tire contact point points, more would be necessary due to the contact points, and also the frame itself is made of 1/4 steel and there is no flex or give so the weight is distrubed really nicely, much better that the weak factory tire mount.
